Rural.exe training course opportunity in Slovakia

Rural.exe – Innovative AI Tools for Community Impact is an Erasmus+ training course designed for youth workers, educators, and active young people working in the field of non-formal learning and youth work.

The training focuses on exploring how digital tools and artificial intelligence can be used to strengthen youth participation, support rural development, and create meaningful impact in local communities. Participants will gain practical skills and hands-on experience with accessible AI tools, while critically reflecting on their use in youth work and community initiatives.

The programme is based on non-formal education methods, including interactive workshops, group work, simulations, and peer learning. A key element of the training is the co-creation process, where participants work in international teams to design and test their own educational activities related to AI, digitalisation, and rural challenges. These activities will be implemented during the training and later adapted for local follow-up initiatives.

The training also places emphasis on inclusion, supporting participants from rural and underrepresented backgrounds, and encouraging the active involvement of youth workers working with fewer opportunities.

By the end of the activity, participants will:

develop practical competences in using AI tools in youth work

strengthen their ability to design and facilitate non-formal learning activities

exchange good practices and experiences from different countries

gain inspiration and tools to implement local activities with their communities

After the training, participants will be expected to organise a follow-up activity at the local level, ensuring the transfer of knowledge and wider dissemination of project results.
